Making A Purchase – Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Please note that all prices quoted include VAT at 20 percent.
We accept all major cards via Stripe. Not withstanding the first paragraph above, If you are shopping from outside of the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
When your confirmation of order is received, it is to indicate that we have received the order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case of an unscheduled manufacturers price increase, errors & omissions on our part, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product due to manufacturing or supply issues. If there is a variance in your order, we will contact you first to ensure that any change is acceptable. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. If you receive the order not as advertised Sweetie Treats will collect and refund with immediate effect at no cost to the buyer.
If there are products you may wish to purchase which cannot be found in our store, please don’t hesitate to contact us either by phone or e-mail, when we will endeavour to source them for you.
For large or complicated orders, we would prefer to discuss your requirements first. When delivery schedules, large order discounts can be arranged.
Returns Policy – Goods are not supplied on a ‘Sale or Return’ basis.
If you receive your order in good condition, but you consider any item to be unsuitable, you may return it for a refund provided that you do so within 30 days of receipt and the item is returned in an unused, original condition and in the original packaging, you will be liable for the cost of the return. We reserve the right to refund the cost of the goods minus the cost of shipping.
Box damage & Food waste – From time to time, we occasionally get items that may have some items with cosmetic damage to the outer boxes. We will ship items if a box can be repaired and only if food is still sealed with internal packaging intact with no damage. However if you are still unsatisfied we are more than happy to collect and offer a full refund. Due to ethical reasons we do not agree with food waste and fully support governing bodies such as Friends of the Earth. Dates Disclaimer – We aim to ship all items with reasonable shelf life. 2-12+ months, if you would like to purchase and are concerned of dates, please get in touch, and we will be happy to give you dates on items before purchase. Items purchased that are considered short dates will be reviewed case for case if a refund request is made after purchase. All date discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Offers Section – The offers section will contain items displaying a Best Before End (BBE) dated badge. These items can be sold and eaten after the BBE date. The BBE item overtime may start to lose its taste and texture. Please see The UK’s Food Standards Agency for more information and regulatory guidance. Expiry dates should not be sold or eaten after expiry date.
Tax Charges – For orders made from the UK or other European Union Countries, prices quoted now include VAT.
Cancel Order: If you wish to cancel your order after placing it, just call or email with your order id, and we will be happy to cancel the order.
Refunds & Returns: If you wish to send back your item as you are not happy we are happy to refund you. Please note, if you have purchased an item with free shipping, we reserve the right to refund the cost of the goods minus the cost of shipping.
Shortages – Shortages must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the order. Failure to do so will result in a no claim on any missing goods.
Damages, Claims & Missing Items: If you receive your order damaged, you must sign for the item as “DAMAGED“. Please provide a photo of the whole box clearly showing the label and address. We also require photographic evidence of the item(s) claimed for clearly showing damage to external packaging, internal packaging, parcel label on item and damage to the item. Failure to do so will result in us not being able to refund or replace items. Please note DPD requests for “leave in a safe place” void claims of missing or damaged items.
Credit Card Security – WorldPay uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Furthermore, their public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring that both the shopper and retailer can have confidence that nobody can impersonate Worldpay to obtain confidential information.
Cancellation Fee – We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if you the (customer) wish to cancel.
