Making A Purchase - Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept all major cards via RBS WorldPay. Notwithstanding the first paragraph above, If you are shopping from outside of the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

When your confirmation of order is received, it is to indicate that we have received the order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case of an un-scheduled manufacturers price increase, errors & omissions on our part, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product due to manufacturing or supply issues. If there is a variance in your order, we will contact you first to ensure that any change is acceptable.

If there are products you may wish to purchase which cannot be found in our store, please don’t hesitate to contact us either by phone or e-mail, when we will endeavour to source them for you.

For large or complicated orders, we would prefer to discuss your requirements first. When delivery schedules, large order discounts can be arranged.

Tax Charges - For orders made from the UK , VAT will be added at time of checkout, currently set at 20%.

Credit Card Security - The RBS WorldPay payment system uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Furthermore, their public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring that both the shopper and retailer can have confidence that nobody can impersonate RBS WorldPay to obtain confidential information.

Privacy Policy - Sweetie-Treats.com do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

Delivery - If orders are placed before 11.00AM (excluding Weekends and UK Public Holidays), we will aim to despatch within 3-5 days, earlier if at all possible. 

To save on delivery charges, we will ideally collate orders and dispatch all products as one consignment. If you require items sooner, please contact us by e-mail, and we will arrange for the order to be split and dispatched when available. We will keep you informed at all times via the e-mail addressed supplied at the time of placing the order.

If you fall within our own delivery area, KentSussex, Surrey and South London, delivery may be undertaken using one of own vehicles. If outside this geographical area, or for expediency, we will use our preferred courier Interlink Express using their Next Working Day service, At the time of dispatch, an SMS or e-mail will be sent, by Interlink (using the supplied mobile / e-mail address) detailing timed delivery details and tracking information. For any delivery issues, Interlink should be your first port of call.

There is a provision for time critical deliveries, but these require a separate delivery quote with the details agreed, before an order is accepted.

For large orders, we reserve the right to make alternative arrangements and delivery surcharges, but only in full consultation with you.

We are  currently unable to supply Internationally, due to the high cost of shipping relativly heavy items and the fragility of most of the products on offer. However we are happy to discuss your requirements and if a solution can be found, we will endeavour to facilitate this.

Shipping And Handling - There is a standard delivery charge to all UK mainland addresses of £4.50. For particularly heavy items we reserve the right to apply a surcharge, but only following consultation with you. 

All orders placed before 11am Mon-Fri will be shipped the same day for next working day* delivery.

*Please note this is subject to stock levels.

For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands (as defined below) a flat rate delivery charge of £7.95, regardless of monetary value will be applied. For the Isle of Wight a flat rate delivery charge of £12.95, regardless of monetary value, will be charged.  For the Scottish Islands (as defined below),  Northern Ireland and non-mainland regions (Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly & Isle of Man) and the Irish Republic, a flat rate of £20.00, regardless of monetary value, will be applied, For all these destinations a Two Day Service is offered. Large orders or particularly heavy items, may also be subject to additional charges, but these will only be applied following full discussion.

Returns Policy - Goods are not supplied on a 'Sale or Return basis.

If you receive your order in good condition, but you consider any item to be unsuitable, you may return it for a refund provided that you do so within 30 days of receipt and the item is returned in an unused, original condition and in the original packaging.

In these circumstances, a carriage and restocking charge of £25.00 or 20% of the value of the items being returned (whichever is highest) may be deducted from the credit for the returned goods.

All returns must have a returns number (RMA), obtainable from us on 01825 748727. If goods are returned without an RMA, they will be refused and returned to you at your cost.

Important: For items which do not appear in any of our publications or website and have been specially ordered, we will only accept returns if the goods are defective and returned with 14 days of delivery

Damaged items - On receipt of your order, if the package is visibly damaged, you must mark 'box damaged' on the courier's delivery record, before inspecting the contents yourself. Damages must be notified to, 01825 748727, within 48 hours of receipt in order to obtain a credit or replacement. Claims for damage in transit will not be considered after this period or for damaged boxes which are not signed for as such.

Shortages - Upon receipt of order, please inspect the contents of all packages. Shortages must be notified within 48 hours of receipt in order to obtain a credit or replacement. Claims for shortages will not be considered after this period.

Faulty Goods - Where goods are found to be faulty upon receipt, we will arrange for collection of the item(s) and offer you the choice of a replacement item/part at no extra cost to you.

Failure within the Guarantee Period - Proof of purchase must be supplied before warranty repairs can be accepted, so please retain all invoices.
